Site Reconfiguration
Canteen Mezzanine and WC Refurbishment
Date: October 2025
Client: The Private Clinic, Harley Street, London
Description: Basement Reconfiguration for Longevity Suite
Everlong Developments was appointed by The Private Clinic Group to reconfigure and refurbish the basement level at 98 Harley Street, creating a clean, functional and professionally finished environment for the clinic’s Longevity Suite.
The project was delivered within a compressed programme and focused on adapting the existing basement spaces for immediate operational use without the time and cost of a full basement redevelopment. The works included room reconfiguration, new partitions, joinery alterations, floor repairs and replacement, plumbing alterations, decoration and the creation of new functional treatment and support spaces.
Everlong worked across a number of existing basement rooms and circulation areas, coordinating the refurbishment around the constraints of the existing building. Works included the conversion of existing rooms to suit revised clinical and consultation uses, alterations to cabinetry and worktops, sink relocations, new partitions and doors, corridor upgrades and the formation of a new server cupboard.
A key part of the project involved rebuilding areas of the existing floor where the original construction had deteriorated. In Room B11, the existing floor build-up was stripped back to the subfloor, allowed to dry, treated with a damp-proof membrane and rebuilt using Caberdeck, plywood and Altro Resilience safety flooring. This created a robust, moisture-resistant floor suitable for continued use within the basement treatment environment.
Further flooring upgrades were completed throughout the basement circulation areas, with new Altro finishes installed to key corridors and cap-and-cove detailing introduced where required. Decoration was carried out using the clinic’s approved corporate colour palette to maintain a consistent appearance across the completed Longevity Suite.
The works were undertaken within the agreed programme and budget, with practical completion achieved in February 2026. Everlong also provided post-completion support, including a planned return visit after the clinic’s furniture and equipment had been reinstated to deal with any minor marks arising during the move-back process.
The completed project provided The Private Clinic with a refreshed and reconfigured basement environment ready for operational use, while retaining the flexibility for further upgrades as the facility develops.
